NCPD Investigating Break-In and Assault at Garden City South Residence
Garden City South, NY - November 16, 2018 - The Fifth Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 4:25 a.m. in Garden City South.
According to detectives, a male victim, 27, returned to his residence on Nassau Boulevard with three acquaintances. As one of the acquaintances headed to the rear of the residence he noticed a male black, subject 1, standing near a window while another male black, subject 2, was climbing out of a window in the rear of the residence. A brief altercation ensued causing the acquaintance to suffer injuries to his abdomen. During the altercation the victim observed subject 2 lift his shirt and showed what he believed to be a handgun in his waistband. Both subjects then fled the scene on foot northbound on Nassau Boulevard and then westbound on Ardsley Boulevard where it is believed they got into a vehicle in the vicinity of Euston Road South.
Both Subjects are described as male blacks, 25-35 years old wearing dark clothing. The victim of the physical altercation was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. Proceeds from the burglary were miscellaneous clothing and not recovered at this time.
