UPDATE - Armed Burglar Forced His Way into Valley Stream Home, Victim Holds Burglar Down Until Police Arrival

Update - November 15, 2016 - Detectives report the arrest of Majestic S. Glover, 36, of Queens.  The investigation revealed after a struggle a round was discharged from the weapon.  No one was struck from the bullet. 

Officers arrived and placed Glover under arrest without further incident.  A search incidental to arrest discovered the suspect to be in possession of 14 forged $50 bills and 4 forged $20 bills. 

He is charged with two counts of Robbery 1st degree, Burglary 1st degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Reckless Endangerment 1st degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree. 

He will be arraigned on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.

Valley Stream, NY - November 15, 2016 - The Fifth Squad is investigating an occupied Burglary that occurred on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 2:07 am in Valley Stream.

According to detectives, a male subject armed with a handgun forced his way into a Catherine Street home and demanded property from the victim.  A struggled ensued where the victim was able to overpower the subject and hold him until police arrival. 

This investigation is ongoing.
