Officials: Pedestrian Seriously Injured After Struck by Motorist in Hicksville
Hicksville, NY - November 14, 2018 - Second Squad detectives report the details of a serious auto accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7:15 pm in Hicksville.
According to detectives, while on foot, attempting to cross S. Broadway at W. Marie Street, a 61 year old male was struck by a southbound 2015 Lexus driven by a 23 year old male who remained at the scene. As a result of the collision the pedestrian suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He is currently listed in critical condition.
