Ridge Man Killed in William Floyd Pkwy Crash

Ridge, NY - November 14th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a man in Ridge last night.

Timothy Falletta, 27, of Village Drive, was driving his 2006 Mazda northbound on William Floyd Parkway when his vehicle crossed the grass median and struck a 2008 Kia traveling in the southbound lanes.

Falletta was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.  The driver of the Kia, Robert Brady, 62, of Shirley was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.  Detectives ask anyone who witnessed the crash to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752 or onymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will remain confidential.
