Police: Huntington Station Man Arrested After Allegedly Sexual Assaulting Teen on Street

Huntington, NY - November 13, 2018 - Suffolk County Police arrested a Huntington Station man for the sexual assault of a 16-year-old female that occurred in Huntington on Sunday, November 11. 
 
The victim, 16, was walking with a friend on Prospect Street, approximately 100 feet south of Main Street, at approximately 1:15 a.m. when she was sexually assaulted by Daniel Adum, 19, who then fled on foot toward Main Street.
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Adum was charged with Criminal Sexual Act 1st Degree and Aggravated Sexual Abuse 2nd Degree. Adum will be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.
