Mother, Son Rescued from Flaming Vehicle after Carle Place Collision, Cops Say

Carle Place, NY - November 13, 2018 - The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Vehicular Accident that occurred on Monday, November 12, 2018 at 9:37 p.m. in Carle Place.
 
According to detectives, while driving westbound on Asbury Ave., the operator of a Dodge Caravan collided with the operator of a Dodge Ram, which was traveling southbound.
 
The Carle Place Fire Department responded and extinguished the Dodge Ram, which caught fire. The driver of the Dodge Ram, a 44 year-old female, and her son, 15, were transported to local hospitals for their injuries.
 
The driver of the Dodge Caravan, a male, was also transported to a local hospital for a leg injury and lacerations.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
