Garden City Park, NY - November 13th, 2013 - The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicle Accident involving a pedestrian which occurred on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 6:45 P.M. in Garden City Park.

According to detectives, Susan Katz, 68, of Roslyn was walking across Jericho Turnpike west of Herricks Road from north to south when she was struck by a 2012 Jeep Liberty being driven westbound on Jericho Turnpike by a 42 year old Long Beach woman.  The aided was taken to Winthrop University Hospital where she was pronounced deceased at 10:36 P.M. by hospital staff.  No criminality is suspected at this time.
