NCPD: Daughter and Boyfriend Charged in Assault, Murder of Lynbrook Woman

Long Beach, NY - November 12, 2018 - The Nassau County Homicide Squad in conjunction with Long Beach Police Department, report the arrests of two individuals on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Lynbrook for an incident that occurred on December 4, 2016 in Long Beach.
 
According to Detectives, defendant Ralph Keppler, 27, of Lynbrook was previously arrested for Attempted Murder and Assault for assaulting a female victim on December 4, 2016 in Long Beach. The victim, identified as Theresa Kiel, 56, of Long Beach succumbed to her injuries as a result of the attack and was pronounced deceased at North Shore Manhasset Hospital at 6:27pm on November 10, 2018.
 
Defendant Ralph Keppler’s charges were upgraded to Murder 2nd Degree. Also arrested was Francesca Kiel, 21, of Lynbrook, she is charged with Murder 2nd Degree. Both Defendants will be arraigned on Monday, November 12, 2018 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
