CANCELLED - Nassau Authorities Issue Alert for Missing Hempstead Teenager

Hempstead, NY - November 12, 2018 - The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a Missing Juvenile that occurred on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. and was reported on Friday, November 09, 2018 at 1:50 p.m. in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, Mercedes Hough, 14, was last seen at the intersection of Jackson Street and N Franklin Avenue on foot. She is described as a female black, 5’ 3” tall, 145 pounds, black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with a fur trim around the hood and blue jeans. Her destination is unknown.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the above Missing Juvenile to call the Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573-7347 or call 911.
