SCSPCA Offers A $2,000 Reward For Information in Heinous Animal Cruelty Case Involving War Veteran's 13-Year-Old Cat
Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk County SPCA, said that on November 3, 2016 the agency received a call with details of how the cat was left at the owner's residence. The cat was transported to a veterinary hospital to determine the cause of death. The owner is a decorated war veteran. The family is devastated at the loss of their pet.
On Saturday morning, November 12, 2016, volunteers from the Suffolk County SPCA will be canvassing and distributing flyers.
If anyone recognizes this cat, please contact the Suffolk County SPCA. We urge anyone with information to contact us so that we are able to bring the individual(s) responsible for this blatant act of animal cruelty to justice.
