Suffolk SPCA To Distribute Pet Food To The Needy

Hauppauge, NY - November 12th, 2014 - The Suffolk County will be distributing pet food for this holiday season from their office in Hauppauge.

Roy Gross, Chief of the Suffolk County SPCA said "we recognize that there are families with pets who are in need of help and our purpose in doing this is to help them so their pets aren't hungry. We will also accept donations of unopened bags or cans of pet food from anyone who may wish to donate, Gross said.

Please call the SCSPCA office at 631-382-7722 to make an appointment to come in and pick up your food.  You must show your social services card or food stamp eligibility to receive free pet food. (Offer available as long as supplies last)

North County Complex is located on the Northeast Corner of Veterans Memorial Highway and Old Willets Path.
