100 Parents & Kids Come Together to Donate Thanksgiving Food Baskets to Long Island Needy

Syosset, NY - November 11, 2015 - 100 parents and kids, ranging in age from 4 to 17, gather at UJA-Federation of New York’s Long Island office with baskets that will provide Thanksgiving dinners for at least 250 needy families, Wednesday, November 11, 2015, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., 6900 Jericho Turnpike in Syosset, NY. The baskets contain everything necessary for a festive holiday, including turkeys or coupons for turkeys, cranberry sauce, candied yams, stuffing mixes, and pies, as well as practical housekeeping items, such as dishwashing soap, sponges, paper towels, napkins, and disposable aluminum roasting pans.
