National Family Caregivers Month is a great time to bring our caregivers and professionals together for a day of learning.  Last year, over one million New Yorkers gave one billion hours of unpaid Alzheimer’s care, time valued at over $14.2 billion. According to the latest statistics, an estimated 390,000 New Yorkers suffer from Alzheimer’s. The impact extends beyond our elderly.  This is America’s most expensive disease.
