Toy Drives Across Long Island For 2021 Holiday Season

Below are some great toy drives on Long Island so you can brighten a child’s holiday this year.

 

Islip Town Youth Bureau Holiday Toy Drive

 

The Islip Town Youth Bureau Annual Holiday Toy Drive is currently underway and your help is needed to ensure each child in Islip Town has a special and joy-filled holiday. Be a part of this wonderful initiative to spread holiday cheer by bringing new and unwrapped toys to any of their drop-off locations, by December 17th.

 

Locations: The Town of Islip Youth Bureau, Town Hall West, 401 Main Street, Islip; The Office of Supervisor Angie Carpenter, 655 Main Street, Islip, The Office of Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen, Jacob Ockers House, 965 Montauk Hwy, Oakdale.

 

A1 Roofing & Waterproofing Holiday Toy Drive

 

Drop off a toy to be given out to a local hospital this holiday season.

 

Location: A1 Group, 51 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station.

 

Chanukah Toy Drive

 

Drop off a new unwrapped toy at the entrance of Chabad of Oceanside.

Teddy Bear Run

 

Join Red Knights Motorcycle Club New York Chapter 26 for their Teddy Bear Run to benefit Brookhaven Town's INTERFACE program on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Noon. Make a difference in a child's life! Free t-shirts for the first 100 riders! Kickstands up at noon. Escorted ride ends with lunch at the Painters Restaurant, 416 S Country Road, Brookhaven. Non-riders can meet at Painters at 1pm. Each year, the club holds this event to collect donations for needy children in Brookhaven Town. The drive provides thousands of toys to children ranging in age from infant to 15-years-old.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island Holiday for Kids’ Sake

 

Create holiday magic by providing gifts to more than 150 families and nearly 500 children. For each child sponsored, the organization provides a list of wishlist items (under $30 each) as well as a little bit about the child to help you shop. Gifts collected no later than December 4. 30th Annual John Theissen Foundation Long Island Toy Drive

 

Be a part of something very special as WBAB, BLI and the John Theissen Children’s Foundation join together to brighten the holiday season for sick and underprivileged Long Island Children. 100% of toys and funds collected stay right here on Long Island and are distributed to over 225 hospitals, agencies and child-care facilities before Christmas.

 

Donations accepted Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 4pm. Please drop off new, unwrapped toys by Sunday, December 19. Location: John Theissen Children’s Foundation Wish Room, 1881 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh. Toys For Tots

 

Long Island’s Toys for Tots program is collecting toys for local children once again. Toys collected for Nassau must be dropped off at 700 Hicksville Rd. in Bethpage. All Suffolk County police stations and the Bayshore Marine Corps League Detachment #247 will serve as drop-off locations. According to the website, 233,250 toys were distributed last year helping 112,831 children.

 

Village of Port Jefferson Toys For Tots

 

Once again The Village of Port Jefferson is participating in Toys for Tots. Donate new unwrapped toys and make a difference in a child's life this Christmas. Drop off at Village Hall or the Village Center by December 8, 2021.

Cruise-Thru Holiday Toy Drive

 

In partnership with the United States Marine Corps, the Town is collecting toys to help families impacted by the COVID-19 economic crisis and those less fortunate throughout the community during the upcoming holiday season. In addition to the ‘Cruise-Thru’, collection boxes are located at Town facilities through December 14th. Date/Time: Saturday, Dec. 4, 9am - 2pm.

 

The ‘Cruise Thru Holiday Toy Drive’ will provide residents an excellent way to contribute directly to the cause and help bring a smile to a child’s face this holiday season. Additionally, the event will feature an appearance by Santa Claus, and a drop box where kids can drop their letters to Santa off at. Letters dropped off with a legible name and return address will be answered by Santa before the holiday.

 

Drive-thru Location: John Burns Park, 4990 Merrick Rd, Massapequa Park.

 

Other Toys for Tots Collection Boxes are located at the following locations:
