Mangano Announces Free Photos With Santa And Christmas Tree

Old Bethpage, NY - November 7, 2015 - While some venues are eliminating Christmas trees and traditional decorations, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announces free photos with Santa – including a Christmas tree and traditional decorations, each Saturday beginning November 28th through December 19th from 10am to 4pm at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. Residents are asked to bring their own camera, smartphone and/or tablet for photographs.

In the spirit of holiday giving, Nassau County encourages residents to donate a new unwrapped toy to the United States Marines Toys for Tots Drive or nonperishable food to Island Harvest’s Holiday Food Drive. Collection boxes will be located near Santa in Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

To celebrate Chanukah, Nassau County is hosting a Menorah lighting ceremony on December 7th at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola. Additionally, a Kwanzaa Celebration will take place on December 30th.
