Suffolk Police Announce Arrest Made in Connection with Fatal Selden Hit-and-Run

Suffolk County Police today arrested a man after a hit-and-run crash killed a woman in Selden on November 5.
 
The pedestrian, Victoria Hutson, was walking southbound in front of 53 Boyle Road when she was struck by a 2016 Toyota Camry that fled the scene at 11:21 a.m. 
 
Hutson, 37, of Selden, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
 
Lan Huynh Truong, 44, of 15 Denise Court, Selden, has been arrested in connection with the above crime and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident.
 
He is being held at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on November 6.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6553 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
