Hempstead, NY - November 6, 2016 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Shooting that occurred on Sunday, November 06, 2016 at 5:19 am in Hempstead.

According to the Gang Investigations Squad detectives, police received a call for a disturbance in front of 40 Linden Place where a large house party was taking place.  Upon arrival, officers found a 26 year old male victim shot multiple times in the lower extremities.  The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  This investigation is ongoing.
