Man Critically Injured in Mount Sinai Single-Vehicle Crash, According to SCPD

Mount Sinai, NY - November 6, 2018 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a crash that critically injured a man in Mount Sinai on Tuesday, November 6.
 
Joseph Campolo was driving a 2010 Ford Edge eastbound on Canal Road when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole in front of 158 Canal Road at 8:55 a.m.
 
Campolo, 73, of Port Jefferson Station, was transported by Port Jefferson EMS to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson where he was listed in critical condition.
 
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
