Mastic Beach, NY - November 3rd, 2014 - The William Floyd Alumni Association recently held its fifth annual Outstanding Educators Award Dinner honoring Ron Gross, Laura Mole, Bill Pike and Mary Schultz, four individuals who have made a great impact in the lives of many William Floyd students and colleagues throughout their careers.

“Over the many years the William Floyd School District has been in existence, we have been blessed with countless outstanding educators and this award recognizes the best of the best. Ron, Laura, Bill and Mary were selected by former students; which I believe is the highest honor an educator can receive,” said Dr. Paul Casciano, Superintendent of Schools, William Floyd School District, and a William Floyd graduate, Class of 1970. “They represent all that is good with public education, all that is good with teaching, and all that is good with our school district.”

“Each year for the past five years, the William Floyd Alumni Association has had the privilege to honor some of the William Floyd School District’s finest educators,” said Jon Geraci, President, William Floyd Alumni Association, and a William Floyd graduate, Class of 1977. “We are extremely grateful for all the knowledge and encouragement that they poured into the lives of their students.”
