NCPD Crime Alert: Trio Wanted for Freeport Armed Mugging

Freeport, NY - November 3rd, 2014 - First Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on November 2, 2014 at 6:55 pm in Freeport.

According to detectives, a 33 year old male victim was walking home from the bus stop in the vicinity of Independence Avenue and Lafayette Place when he was approached by a grey sedan containing five male blacks.  Three male blacks exited the vehicle and subject 1 who was wearing a red/white sweater pointed a handgun at victim, subject 2, (no further description) also had a handgun and subject 3, (no further description) armed with shotgun.  Subject 1 demanded property and US currency, the victim complied and all subjects re-entered the vehicle then fled south on Lafayette Place.  There were no reported injuries.
