Written by Lon Cohen  |  05. November 2020

First opening in Brooklyn, then Columbus Circle in Manhattan, the Long Island family who owns Taheni Mediterranean Grill decided that their best bet was to open their third location on Long Island.

On their website they say that the village of Lindenhurst, where their new restaurant is located will be a key to their future.

“Lindenhurst has a lot to do with our future success,” they wrote. “It’s taken some time to get it up and running, but it’s due to how much detail went into it. We plan to have this location as the milestone to our future growth.”

The menu in Lindenhurst includes a build your own pita sandwich, platters, and salads with chicken, beef, lamb or falafel. They also feature sides like hummus, baba-ganoush, and halloumi cheese, a semi-hard, unripened, brined cheese that is fried. On Instagram, they also introduced a Baclava Shake only at the Lindenhurst location.

On Yelp, Krystal S.called it “a casual spot with fresh and delicious food.”

“Everything that I have tried here is good,” she wrote. “The chicken platter, pita, wrap and Zatar fries are all tasty.  If you like spicy food then try their Shattah sauce. And the Baklava shake is amazing and a must try!”

Location: 296 E Montauk Highway, Lindenhurst, (631) 412-3635.
