Wyandanch Man In Custody After Allegedly Robbing Massapequa Capital One Bank

Massapequa, NY - November 1, 2017 - The Major Case Squad reports the arrest of Rashan Burris, 31, of Wyandanch for a bank robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 12:30 pm in Massapequa.
 
According to detectives, Burris entered Capital One Bank, 4374 Sunrise Highway, approached a female bank teller and handed her a demand note for money. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, Burris fled the bank on foot.
 
No injuries were reported by the three employees and four customers who were present at the time of the robbery.
 
Rashan Burris is being charged with Robbery 3rd degree. The defendant will be arraigned on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Nassau County Court, 262 Old Country Rd in Mineola.
