Central Suffolk, NY - November 1, 2016 - This holiday season, Always Best Care® Senior Services of Central Suffolk, is committed to ending the fight against hunger by hosting an online food drive to benefit Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry. Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry is an ecumenical project that depends on the parishioners of the seven church congregations within Smithtown to work together as one in order to provide food and to staff the pantry on a rotating basis.

Now through Dec. 13, local residents are encouraged to visit online and select from a variety of goods to purchase for donation. The online food drive will culminate in a one-day delivery to Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry. The online food drive is made possible through YouGiveGoods, an innovative company that connects tangible giving to community needs through a free, easy-to-use online service.

“Community involvement and support is at the heart of our company’s mission and at Always Best Care, we are always looking for opportunities to give back,” said Anthony D’Amico, Always Best Care of Central Suffolk franchisee. “We are so proud to be associated with Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry and invite everyone to make an online donation to support a very good local cause.”

In addition to the food drive, Always Best Care gives back to the communities it serves by supporting senior citizens through Always In Touch, the company’s telephone reassurance program that provides a friendly voice each weekday for seniors and disabled adults. The service is especially appreciated by those seniors during the holidays.

Always Best Care is one of the nation’s leading providers of non-medical in-home care, assisted living placement services and skilled home health care. The company delivers its services through an international network of more than 200 independently owned and operated franchise territories throughout the United States and Canada.
