New Cassel Employee Arrested for Stealing $47,000
November 1, 2013 - New Cassel, NY - The Third Squad reports an arrest for Grand Larceny which occurred on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 8:00 P.M. in New Cassel.
According to detectives, between April 2013 and October 2013 Falone Volcy, 21, of 144 New York Avenue, Westbury, stole over $47,000.00 from her cash register while employed at Super Associated Supermarket located at 595 Old Country Road. During an internal investigation it was discovered she used a manager’s void code on several different occasions to commit the larcenies. Volcy was placed under arrest without incident at the supermarket.
The defendant is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Identity Theft 1st degree and Falsifying Business Records 1st degree. She will be arraigned on Friday, November 01, 2013 at First District Court in Hempstead.
