Police: Man Driving on Drugs in Terryville Strikes Two Parked Cars, Overturns Vehicle

Terryville, NY - October 30, 2018 - Suffolk County Police arrested a man for driving while ability impaired by drugs after a crash in Terryville on Monday, October 29.
 
Brandon Sheridan was driving a 2008 Ford Van southbound on Jayne Boulevard near Dillon Avenue when the vehicle swerved into the southbound shoulder, struck two parked cars and overturned at approximately 9:00 p.m. Sheridan was extricated from the van by responding paramedics from Terryville Rescue who transported him to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
 
Sheridan, 29, of Rocky Point was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. He is being held overnight at the Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 30.  
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
