Elmont, NY - October 30th, 2014 - The Narcotics/Vice Bureau reports the arrest of a Brooklyn man for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance that occurred on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in Elmont.

According to Detectives, on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 detectives conducted a narcotics investigation at which time they were able to contact the defendant Trevor Torres, 26, of  Vermont Street on Craigslist who did agree to sell an undisclosed amount of cocaine.   They set up a meeting in Elmont, when the defendant arrived on Locustwood Boulevard he was in possession of cocaine and placed under arrest without incident.

Torres is charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and will be arraigned on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
