Hometown Bake Shop opens in Patchogue

Written by Lon Cohen  |  29. October 2019

With an offering that ranges from sweet fruit pies filled with blueberries, apples and key lime to pies that you’d usually find on a sandwich menu like their El Cubano with pulled pork and even a mac & cheese pie, owner Danna Abrams has made a name for herself in Centerport. But, South Shore folks can now enjoy the wide array of sweet and savory offerings including gluten-free items, quiches, and a dessert menu with an assemblage of delicious brownies, bars and cookies. Hometown Bake Shop has opened its Patchogue location.

Everything is made from scratch in the bake shop using the freshest ingredients.

They even have an extensive breakfast menu including egg bombs. Egg bombs consist of dough baked around a variety of egg meals. For example, the Benedictdonut egg bomb is a donut filled with hollandaise sauce, ham, and a poached egg. Breakfast items also include muffins and scones. This is a bake shop after all.
