Two Fatalities in Farmingdale

Farmingdale, NY - October 29, 2014 - The Homicide Squad reports the details of two fatalities that occurred on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Farmingdale.

According to detectives, a female victim in her sixties was discovered at 7:55 p.m. in front of 130 Secatogue Avenue. She is the victim of an apparent homicide. Approximately 25 minutes later the MTA police notified Nassau County Police that a male in his thirties was struck and killed by an eastbound Long Island Rail Road train approximately 1000 feet west of Clinton Avenue. The investigation into both fatalities is ongoing.
