County Executive Bellone and Police Commissioner Webber To Swear In New Class of Police Recruits

Brentwood, NY -  October 29th, 2013 - Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Suffolk County Police Commissioner Edward Webber will on October 30 swear in the newest class of police recruits who recently began their six-month training at the Suffolk County Police Academy as part of becoming police officers.

The class includes 40 recruits who will become Suffolk County Police officers as well as 18 from various outside agencies. Of the Suffolk County Police recruits, 10 come with previous police experience while 27 have served in the armed forces.
