New Tastes Take Off at Cafe Volo in Westhampton

Written by Lon Cohen  |  02. November 2020

Previously called The Apron Cafe, diners will find the new Cafe Volo offers the same views of the planes at Gabres ki Airport in Westhampton Beach taking off and landing as they eat. If you’re a fan of aeronautics then get yourself a seat and order up breakfast and lunch all while watching the runway.

The menu itself is a ticket to a variety of styles and flavors. Breakfast includes S.O.S., which is two eggs over easy served on toasted English muffin in creole style sausage gravy and homefries ($14), or Southern Style Grits, topped with melted cheese, poached egg and topped with a local, farm fresh avocado and tomato salsa ($14), among others. They have a host of omelettes ($13-$15) and the Puddle Jumper ($8) or Layover ($10) stacks of pancakes.

Lunch includes starters like Potato Pierogies ($10), Kobe Meatballs ($16), and Fried Burrata Ravioli ($12). They also have soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis, and larger entrees.

On Google Reviews, Brooke Woods said, “Great food, great service. Hidden gem. Can’t wait to try more things on their menu.”

If you are crazy about airplanes or just want a unique place to grab breakfast or lunch, try out Cafe Volo.
