Over 500 Dogs in Halloween Costumes to Compete in Annual "Barkfest" Contest on Sunday, October 30

Setauket, NY - October 30, 2016 - Suffolk County Legislator Kara Hahn will be hosting over 500 dogs dressed in Halloween costumes competing in Suffolk County's annual Barkfest contest and holiday celebration, Sunday, October 30th at 12:00 Noon, 3131 Nesconset  Highway, Setauket, NY.

A yearly tradition, Barkfest is Long Island's largest pet costume contest and parade.  The event will feature prizes for winning dogs, a live DJ, and a variety of pet-friendly vendors. Sponsors include: Save-A-Pet,  and Little Shelter Animal Rescue & Adoption Center.
