Amityville, NY - October 28, 2014 - Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory helped celebrate the 100th birthday of Evelyn Moriarty Lacamera last weekend in Copiague.

Born Evelyn Moriarty, the centenarian has been a resident of Copiague for over 30 years. She was “surprised and honored” when presented with a Proclamation from the Suffolk County Legislature honoring her great accomplishment.
 

“It was great to be able to share a moment with Evelyn as she celebrated her 100th  birthday with family and friends," said Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory. “She has many reasons to celebrate a full and blessed life.”
