Woman Wanted for Stealing Purse in Shoreham Cafe

Shoreham, NY - October 27th, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a woman who stole a pocketbook containing credit cards from a cafe in Shoreham.

A purse was stolen from the counter at the Bagel Lady Café, located at 99 Route 25A, at approximately 1:30 p.m. on August 22, 2014. The suspect attempted to use one of the credit cards on the same date at approximately 1:40 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy located in Wading River.

The woman is described as white, with long black hair and has a tattoo on her right shoulder.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
