Presiding Officer Gregory Attends 2014 Award Ceremony of The Long Island Music Hall Of Fame

Amityville, NY - October 27, 2014 - Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory helped welcome The Long Island Music Hall of Fame to Suffolk County as they celebrated their 2014 induction ceremony at The Paramount in Huntington Village.

Among this year’s inductees were Debbie Gibson, Kurtis Blow and Clive Davis.

During the ceremony, an announcement was made that Wyandanch has been chosen as the location of The Long Island Music Hall of Fame’s first permanent museum.

“I am pleased to welcome the Long Island Music Hall of Fame to Wyandanch,” said Suffolk County Legislature Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory. “The addition of the Hall of Fame will serve to strengthen the community’s efforts to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Wyandanch.”
