NCPD: Brooklyn Man Arrested for Great Neck Estates Burglary

Great Neck, NY - October 26th, 2013 - The Third Squad reports the details of an arrest for Burglary that occurred on October 16, 2013 in Great Neck Estates.
 
According to detectives, defendant Johnny Ortiz, 20, of 1092 Willmohr Street, Brooklyn entered a North Clover Drive residence and took four Rolex watches and a coin collection.  The defendant was arrested in New York City for an unrelated charge.  After an investigation in conjunction with the New York City Police Department and the Nassau County Police Department Intelligence Section the defendant was placed under arrest and was transported to the Third Precinct for arrest processing.  The above property was recovered. 
 
Johnny Ortiz is being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree.  He will be arraigned on October 26, 2013 at First District Court, Hempstead.
