Arrest Made in Connection with Robbery of Two Nassau County Banks, Police Say

Levittown, NY - October 25, 2018 - The Major Case Bureau reports an arrest in connection with a Robbery which occurred on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. in Levittown.
 
According to Robbery Squad detectives, Randall Carbone, 48, entered the Bank of America located at 3161 Hempstead Turnpike. He approached a teller and produced a demand note. The teller complied giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash. Carbone fled on foot heading westbound on Hempstead Turnpike. 
 
There were three employees and one customer in the bank at the time of the robbery. No injuries were reported.
 
Carbone was arrested for the above crime. He is charged with Robbery 3rd Degree and was arraigned on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Nassau County Court, Mineola.
 
Defendant Carbone was charged with an additional count of Robbery 3rd Degree for an incident that occurred on April 4, 2016 at 4:57 pm in a Chase Bank located at 446 Central Avenue, Cedarhurst.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
