Wantagh Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

Wantagh, NY - October 25, 2014 - Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Wantagh on Friday, 10/24/14 at 6:18 P.M.
 
According to detectives, a male subject, armed with a handgun, entered BP Gas Station located at 1442 Wantagh Ave., approached the clerk and demanded money. The victim complied and the subject fled with an undisclosed amount of cash into the wooded area located behind the gas station, northbound on the dirt path. 
 
No injuries were reported.
 
The subject is described as a male white, 19-25 years of age, 5’8” tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans, blue bandana covering his face, silver sun glasses, dark baseball cap, and black gloves.
