Legislator Anker: Joining Leisure Village in the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Ridge, NY - October 23rd, 2013 - On Saturday, October 19th, Legislator Sarah Anker joined Leisure Village to raise awareness for breast cancer. The Leisure Village Women’s Club, the Pampered Chef and representatives from Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital participated in the breast cancer walk and after-walk reception. Legislator Anker presented a certificate to the Women’s Club to honor their continued hard work.

“I am proud to join the Leisure Village Women’s Club in their goal to raise awareness of breast cancer and funds for research,” said Legislator Anker. “This cause is very close to my heart, and I commend the Women’s Club for their work.”
