Islandia, NY - October 23rd, 2013 - Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for attempting to rob a Subway restaurant in Islandia this evening.

Patrick Piccola entered the Subway in the Islandia Shopping Center at approximately 6:35 p.m., approached a clerk and pointed what appeared to be a gun.  Piccola fled the store, located at 1750 Veterans Memorial Highway, without proceeds.
