Bethpage, NY - October 22, 2014 - New York State Parks will hold a public workshop and open house regarding the preparation of a Trails Plan for Bethpage and Trail View State Parks. State Parks encourages the public to participate in the planning effort and welcomes all comments.

The meeting will be held at the Bethpage Clubhouse Lenox Room on October 30 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

State Parks' staff will make a brief presentation about the trail planning process and the parks at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Staff will also be available to answer questions and receive public comments.

All persons interested in Bethpage and Trail View State Parks are urged to attend. Comments may also be submitted in writing Friday, November 14 to:
