Nassau County PD: New Cassel Robbery Under Investigation

New Cassel, NY - October 22nd, 2013 -  The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in New Cassel on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 3:03 A.M.

According to detectives, a 55 year old male was walking in the vicinity of 875 Prospect Avenue when he was approached by five unknown male black subjects who pushed him to the ground. The subjects then kicked the male repeatedly about the body. After removing a gold chain and medallion from the victim’s neck and a gold ring from his pinky finger the subjects fled on foot westbound on Prospect Avenue. No injuries were reported. There is no further description of the subjects.
