Halloween is for ghosts and goblins but what about goldendoodles? If you want your doggos to miss out on the fall festivities, take them to the events below for a great time.

 

Howl-O-Ween Dog Event & Costume Contest 

When: Saturday, October 23,2021, 11am

Where: Michael J. Tully Park, New Hyde Park

 

North Hempstead Town residents and their dogs are invited to attend the Howl-O-Ween event and costume contest on Saturday, October 23 at 11am at Michael J. Tully Park in New Hyde Park. A fun day filled with music, crafts, a photobooth, creative costumes, giveaways, and more. There will also be a costume contest for the best pet costume and the best pet/owner duo, with prizes given to the winners. Pet owners are invited to celebrate Halloween with their furry friends.

 

Costumed Dog Parade at the Port Jefferson Harvest Festival

When: Saturday, October 23,2021

Where: Main Street, Port Jefferson Village

 

Dogs and their owners were invited to join in the costumed dog parade in Port Jefferson Village. Sponsored by Fetch Doggie Boutique. Port Jefferson is a dog-friendly village so bring the pups and the family down for all of the day’s festivities. Crafts, tastings, the famous "chowder crawl" and live music and activities for the whole family.

 

3rd Annual Wag-O-Ween Spooktacular

When: Sunday, October 24, 2021

Where: Southampton Animal Shelter

 

Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation's 3rd Annual Wag-O-Ween Spooktacular will be held on Sunday, October 24. Doggie costume contest and parade, kiddie costume contest and parade, “Howloween” photo booth, and more.

 

Little Lucy’s 20th Annual Halloween Pet Parade

When: Saturday, October 30, 2021

Where: Agawam Park, Southampton

 

Bring your best dressed dog (and family) to Agawam Park in Southampton. Registration starts at 1pm sharp. $10.00 per dog. Parade walks down Jobs Lane onto Main St., then back to Agawam Park for Party, Costume Awards & Raffle Prize Winners. *There will be Celebrity Judges, Live Music, Food, Vendors, & much more! All the proceeds from the Little Lucy's Annual Halloween Pet Parade will go directly to the Kent Animal Shelter. *(Call if rainy weather 631-287-2352).

 

Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest and Party

When: Sunday, October 31, 2021

Where: Destination Unknown Beer Company, Bay Shore

 

Dress your pup in a costume and you could win a prize. Bonus points for dog mom/dad matching or themed costumes. Advanced tickets include entry and complimentary Destination Unknown Beer Company beer.
