Nassau County Police Dept: Freeport Assault Under Investigation
Freeport, NY - October 19th, 2013 - The First Squad is investigating an Assault that occurred on Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:30 PM in Freeport.
According to detectives, a 51 year old male victim was standing in front of 311 N Main Street, when a verbal altercation occurred between three male black subjects (no further description). The argument escalated when the three subjects began beating the victim about the face and body. The victim then fell to the ground after being hit over the head with an unknown object. The subjects fled the scene northbound on North Main Street. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was admitted in stable condition.
