SCPD Crime Alert: Man Wanted for Public Lewdness in E. Setauket

East Setauket, NY - October 18th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who exposed himself in East Setauket earlier this week.

On October 15 at approximately 4:15p.m. an adult male in a vehicle, described as a four-door station wagon,exposed himself to teenage children who were walking past the vehiclenear the Setauket Elementary School located on Main Street.

The suspect is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s with brown curly hair and a thin-build.  He was clean-shaven, wears glasses and was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue jeans. The vehicle, which is, described as a Subaru Legacy, or similar, was silver/green-colored,or possibly Sea Mist.  It had the old-style white New York empire plates.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
