Baldwin Man Arrested for Falsifying Business Records

Freeport, NY - October 17, 2014 - The Major Case Bureau, Crimes Against Property Squad reports the arrest of a Baldwin man for Falsifying Business Records on Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 7:40 am.

According to detectives, on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 9:10 am the defendant Daniel A. Nolan III, 29, of 1004 Pacific Street presented false paperwork stating he was the owner of a 1996 Dodge to Gershow Recycling located at 143 Hanse Avenue Freeport. A sum of money was paid to the defendant for the scrap metal value of the vehicle. It was later determined that the vehicle scraped was stolen. An investigation led detectives to the defendant’s residence at which time he was placed into police custody without incident. There were no injuries reported.
