Levittown, NY - October 17th, 2013 - Second Squad detectives report the details of three arrests for assault and obstructing governmental administration that occurred in Levittown on Wednesday, 10/16/13 at 10:12 P.M.

According to detectives, Second Precinct Police Officers responded to a domestic incident located at 7 Gun Lane.  Defendant Antonio Marinaccio, 52, who was involved in a verbal and physical altercation with his sister, Gloria Gazzola, 51, knocked down the door to her residence, breaking it off the hinges.  Defendant Marinaccio resisted arrest causing injuries to two police officers.  Gazzola and her mother, Catherine Marinaccio, 76, was also arrested for interfering with the arrest. Al three defendants reside in the same residence.

The police officers, one who suffered a shoulder injury and the other a hand injury, were transported to a local hospital where they were treated and released.

Marinaccio is being with Criminal Mischief 4th Degree, two counts of Assault 2nd Degree and Resisting Arrest.  Gazzola and Catherine Marinaccio are each being charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree.  The defendants’ will be arraigned on Thursday, 10/17/13 in First District Court, Hempstead.
