Local Artist Crowd Funding Educational Kids Show Pilot

Brookhaven, NY - October 17th, 2013 - Brett Donnelly, an artist and performer from Long Island, has begun a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for On The Case. On The Case is a show that utilizes animation, puppetry, and visual effects to teach audiences about the historical and scientific significance of everyday things. Viewers will follow the exploits of Skid Roach, a fictional bug detective, as he investigates various topics. For the pilot, the show topic will be “chocolate”, and interesting facts about the popular foodstuff will be discussed in a humorous and engaging way.

The fund-raising campaign is currently being conducted with crowdfunding site Indiegogo, and is centered on producing the show’s pilot. Click here to view the official campaign page.

Brett Donnelly is a voice actor, illustrator, and graduate student from Brookhaven, NY. His voice has appeared in numerous independent and animated films, including This Is Charles, This Is Kim, a winner of the Williamsburg Independent Film Festival (2010).
