Valley Stream Chiropractor Accused of Sexual Abuse of Patient, According to Officials
Valley Stream, NY - October 16, 2017 - The Fifth Squad reports the arrest of a Merrick man for Sexual Abuse that occurred on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 6:15 pm in Valley Stream.
According to detectives, a 42 year old female patient was at Valley Stream Chiropractic Wellness Center in Valley Stream for a routine appointment. Chiropractor and defendant Douglas Dukofsky, 48, inappropriately touched the victim about the body without consent. After an investigation, defendant Dukofsky was placed under arrest at his home on Monday, October 16, 2017.
Defendant Dukofsky is being charged with Sexual Abuse 3rd Degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, October 16, 2017 at First District Court, Hempstead.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
