Nassau County Police Dept: Uniondale Robbery Under Investigation

Uniondale, NY - October 16th, 2013 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Uniondale on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 3:45 P.M.

According to detectives, a 47 year old male was outside the Hot Pot Caribbean Restaurant at 956 Front Street when he was approached by five unknown male black subjects. Subject one was approximately 30 years of age, 5’10” tall, stocky build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Subject two was described as approximately 25 years old, 5’09” tall, having dreadlocks, thin build, wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Subject three was 27 years old, 5’09” tall, medium build, baseball hat, wearing jeans and a tee shirt. Subjects four and five were 20 years of age, 5’07” tall with medium builds. Subject one while concealing a handgun in his sweatshirt pocket grabbed the victim by the arm. The victim fearing for his safety broke free and ran eastbound accidentally dropping his car keys along the way. The subjects were then seen by the victim in a black four door sedan with New Jersey registration plates and a black four door Honda with Pennsylvania registration plates on Front Street. Subject one then exited the Honda and got into the victim’s 2013 Dodge Avenger New York registration FPR-9434 and fled westbound on Front Street. No injuries were reported.
