This election year promises to be a contentious one with two candidates on the Presidential ballot who are diametrically opposed to each other in almost every way. There are plenty of other positions up for grabs this year including a number of Congressional representatives, State senatorial seats and assembly seats in both Suffolk and Nassau County.

In both counties there are three ways to cast a ballot in this year’s General Election:

 

• On Election Day- November 3, 2020 at your polling place
• During Early Voting - October 24th through November 1st
• By Absentee Ballot – In addition to existing reasons to obtain an absentee ballot, New York State has proscribed that “illness” shall include the “risk of contracting or spreading a disease that may cause illness to the voter or to other members of the public.
